New Orleans Bachelor Party Budget Worksheet.

Build a New Orleans bachelor party budget from live quotes using a transparent worksheet for lodging, activities, food, transportation, tickets, and contingency.

Direct answer

Do not start with a generic per-person number. Start with live quotes for the exact dates and confirmed group size, separate shared expenses from personal spending, add a visible contingency line, and divide only the shared subtotal by the people who have actually committed to pay.

Decision tool / no fake score

Group Fit Matrix.

Best for

  • Organizers collecting money before reservations
  • Groups with different room, activity, or nightlife preferences
  • Crews that want fewer reimbursement disputes

Avoid if

  • The payer count is based on maybes
  • Quotes with different cancellation terms are being treated as equal
  • Personal bar, casino, or optional spending is hidden inside the shared budget

Group logistics

4–7
A simple shared ledger can work, but one cancellation changes every person's share more sharply.
8–12
Assign one expense owner and require deposits before the first major nonrefundable reservation.
13–18
Separate base-trip expenses from optional branches; not every person should subsidize an activity they declined.
19+
Use formal deadlines, payment records, and a written cancellation policy for the group. Do not let one organizer silently finance the trip.

Build the budget in five ledgers.

Shared weekend budget structure
LedgerIncludeDo not assume
Home baseLodging quote, mandatory charges, deposits, parking if neededThe first displayed rate is the final group total
AnchorsCharter, swamp trip, tickets, golf, private meal, or other reserved experienceEvery person is attending every optional activity
MovementAirport plan, activity transfer, main-night return planLarge groups can improvise with one ride at the last minute
Shared foodReserved meals, groceries, chef or boil service, service charges shown in the quotePersonal bar tabs and individual meals belong in the shared pool
ContingencyA clearly labeled reserve for approved changes or unavoidable shared needsUnused money can be spent without group approval

Use a worksheet that can be audited.

  1. List every quoted shared item with provider, date, amount, due date, and cancellation status.

  2. Mark each item as required for all, required for a subgroup, or individually optional.

  3. Add the confirmed shared subtotal. Keep personal spending outside this number.

  4. Add the group-approved contingency as its own line rather than padding individual estimates.

  5. Divide each ledger only by the confirmed participants responsible for it.

  6. Record payments, receipts, refunds, and remaining balances in the same shared view.

Set money rules before booking.

  • One person owns the ledger; a second person reviews it.
  • A verbal yes is not a deposit.
  • Every payer can see which items are refundable and until when.
  • A person who joins late pays the same applicable ledgers unless the group explicitly decides otherwise.
  • A person who cancels is responsible for any nonrecoverable amount created by that cancellation, subject to the group's written agreement.
  • Casino gambling and other personal entertainment remain personal expenses.

Compare quotes on risk as well as amount.
